Massage is an effective treatment for conditions such as whiplash, plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, muscular strains and postural dysfunctions. It can be an effective complement to either physiotherapy or chiropractic treatments, providing hands-on time for restoring soft tissue injuries and addressing compensatory areas of the body.
Massage is also wonderful for the expecting mom. It is a drug-free alternative to reduce the many discomforts that may come along with a pregnancy.
Our massage therapists recommend at least a 60 minute appointment to accommodate all the areas that need to be addressed, and treat the body as a whole. A visit includes assessment, time required to change, reassessment and remedial exercises, all as part of the treatment time allotted. Shorter visits, 30 minute and 45 minute treatments, are also possible to arrange if necessary.
